You’ll be relieved to know that I’ve since colored my hair, but I’m sure I’ll be using the Rita Hazan Root Concealer again as soon as it starts to grow it. I used it several times after that, though, and with the correct amount it looked and felt natural. The first time I used it, I will admit that I used too much and it made my hair feel a bit stiff and dirty.
I’m embarrassed to show my before photo, but will reassure you that I don’t normally let it get this bad! I knew that I’d be reviewing the root concealer, so I purposefully didn’t color my hair for even longer than normal to be able to really see how well the root concealer works when it arrived. It’s the perfect way to keep your roots in check until you can get to the salon.
